Variable Days

Here is a planned itinerary to help you schedule your days in Bali. Learn more about each of the sites (including food, transport and other tips)

Let’s Plan for 2 Weeks

Planning for 2 weeks requires a leave from work and it is best suited if you take 10 days leave from work. 5 working days each week including Sat & Sun will get the most out of your vacation. Total Days 16 including travel to and from Bali.

1) Land in Bali

Day 1 - Head to your hotel

Bali has its airport located in Kuta which is in the Southern Peninsula. The airport is called Denpasar Airport. We will head out to the other sections without wasting much time here as we will come back for our return flight.

2) East Bali (2 Days)

Day 2 - Relax and Unwind in Amed Beach

๐Ÿ• Wake up and Head to Amed Beach
Soak in all that Bali vibe the first day with a full day of snorkeling and lazing by the beachside. Don’t forget to explore the Japanese shipwreck and the Jemeluk underwater gallery along with the underwater postcard box here. Tons of fish and corals and a lively day.

Day 3 - Temple Hopping in Eastern Bali

Rent a scooter for easy driveability in this region since we are exploring a lot of temples.

๐Ÿ• 8:00 am - Ride to Penataran Lempuyang
Get that must-in-Bali photo and spend some time here. Reach early to avoid the large queue for the photogenic Gateway of Heaven.

๐Ÿ• 11:00 am - Head to Besakih Temple
Spend some quality time here as it is regarded as one of the most important temples in Bali. This temple is large and take your time to explore around. If you happen to reach on a festival day, all the more better.

๐Ÿ• 2:00 pm - Have a quick lunch

๐Ÿ• 3:00 pm - Head to Taman Tirtagangga
Enjoy the water palace and feed the fish here. Spend some quality time here and click those insta-pics.

Ride around for the rest of the day (two mountains- Mount Agung and Mount Batur lie in this region) or head back to Amed beach for another round of snorkeling.

3) Central Bali (3 Days)

Day 4 - Explore Ubud

๐Ÿ• 8:00 am - Check-in at Ubud
Wake up, check out of Amed and head for Ubud. Take the taxi to reach fast.

Immerse yourself in this secluded waterfall and take some great photos.

๐Ÿ• 4:00 pm - Head to Tegenungan Waterfall
This is a more common waterfall and hence the crowd will be more. This place also provides for some nice photo ops including the bird’s nests.

๐Ÿ• 5:30 pm - Campuhan Ridge Walk
Unwind for the day by taking a romantic evening walk.

Day 5 - Ubud North

๐Ÿ• 6:30 am - Get that early morning photo at Handara Gate
It is a bit far north, and if driving from Ubud, leave early to catch that perfect sunrise with an amazing backdrop.

A famous temple by the lake. Very calm and scenic getaway. Relax and roam around for a while

๐Ÿ• 11:30 pm - Kebun Raya Bali
Explore the nearby sites which provide a clean atmosphere away from the hustle-bustle of the central Ubud. Have lunch around

๐Ÿ• 1:00 pm - Head over to Nungnung Waterfalls
The way to the waterfall is a bit of a hike. Head to the waterfalls for an afternoon splash.

๐Ÿ• 3:30 pm - Jatiluwih Rice Terrace or Sangeh Monkey Forest
Unwind for the day by either heading to the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace or the Sangeh Monkey Forest

Day 6 - Ubud South

๐Ÿ• 8:30 am - Tanah Lot
The Tanah Lot is a temple situated on an island and is recommended to go early morning to avoid the crowd.

๐Ÿ• 11:30 am - Taman Ayun Temple
Head to another temple called the Taman Ayun Temple. The temple is quite calm and does not attract many tourists.

๐Ÿ• 12:30 am - Bali Bird Park and Reptile Park
The Bali Bird and Reptile park are worth their money and will make your day a calm relaxed one.

4) South Bali (2 Days)

๐Ÿ• 5:30 pm - Uluwatu Kecak and Fire Dance
The sunset brings along the famous Kecak and Fire dancers near the temple. Do not miss this!

Day 8 - A Day of Watersports

5) Nusa Penida (2 Days)

Day 9 - Explore Diamond Beach and Waterfalls
